With the world's most widely used CMS

What is WordPress

Beginning as a blogging platform, WordPress has rapidly evolved to become one of the most powerful–but, at the same time, flexible–software for building websites in general.

There are about 500 sites published with WordPress every day, accounting for 15 percent of the world market share. Today, WordPress technology is used for building very complex and dynamic business websites, demonstrating great versatility and ease of use.

The advantages of making websites with WordPress

WordPress provides numerous advantages:

  • It is simple to use on your own: it allows you to deliver to the end customer a product that can be managed with ease, even by those who do not know programming languages;
  • It is versatile: it provides many plugins to customize the site to suit your needs;
  • It is SEO-friendly: already in the basic version, WordPress encourages proper indexing of the site by search engines, but you can also install specific plugins;
  • It has responsive design: it allows you to create websites with responsive design on which you can navigate from any device (desktop PC, tablet or smartphone);
  • It offers the possibility to create an e-commerce: via the WooCommerce plugin, In fact, you can independently manage your own online store.

WORDPRESS WEBSITE:
THE STAGES OF THE PROJECT

1. Definition of graphics

The implementation of a WordPress site is set up and planned together with the client based on the specific needs, both graphically and in terms of the site structure/menu tree.

During an initial brief with the client, all requirements are received, and from these, Web Designers create a first graphic draft of the homepage and some subpages-both in desktop and mobile formats-that are submitted to the client for approval.

2. Menu definition and content creation

Together with the client, the WordPress site tree is defined, including all the various sections/menu items, and the type of content to be included. Based on the menu items, the client then provides the text and images to be included on the site.

If included in the selected commercial offering, content can be produced by our Web Content Specialists.

3. WordPress website implementation

Once graphics and content are defined, we proceed with the actual computer programming phase of the website, carried out by professional programmers.

When this stage is completed, the site will be ready and you can proceed with uploading content.

4. CONTENT INSERTION

Once the site has been delivered, we need to proceed with the inclusion of content (text and images), concluding this phase with a fine-tuning of all details together with the client.

At this point, the staging phase ends, and we need to proceed with putting it online.

5. domain and e-mail

To proceed with getting online, the target domain must be established:

  • if already in the client’s possession, a change will be made to the domain DNS, which will point to the server of the new site;
  • if previously managed by another agency, you can proceed with transferring the domain and mailboxes to our servers;
  • if not existing, available domains will be identified and purchased.

6. Go-Live of the new site

Once the inclusion of content is completed, with the client’s approval, the website is put online.

The timeline for going online is about 24 hours. In the case of domain transfer, some temporary disruptions in the operation of mailboxes may be encountered, and it is therefore necessary to identify the most suitable time for the customer to go online.
